Peter’s youngest daughter took up riding just before their move to the Midwest. Somehow, a horse was bought, the daughter discovered boys and Peter became a horse owner. When Oakbrook Hounds moved to Naperville, so did Peter’s horse. When Hunt members built new kennels and served champagne to all participants, Peter joined Hunt. After 20 years of fox hunting and serving as a charter member of Cornwall Hounds, and after holding several positions both as President and 1st Whipper-In, Peter started trail riding. In past 6 years Peter has become an avid horse camper. Peter runs a small engineering company and has been active on equestrian trail issues. Peter currently serves as board member of Horsemen’s Council of Illinois and Illinois Trail Riders. He is also the TROD liaison with the Forest Preserve.
